Celebrating 175 Years...

The High Kirk in its prominent position above the Stevenston Burn was dedicated in 1833. It replaced the church which was built in 1670. That building, which had replaced a still earlier one, was found to be too small for the growing congregation in spite of the addition of an aisle in 1744.

This year we celebrate 175 years of Christian witness in Stevenston, North Ayrshire. As part of our celebrations we gather for our Anniversary Dinner on Wednesday 10th September in the Seamill Hydro, West Kilbride.  

 
 
Foundations
  1. Throughout the year we provide opportunities where Christians can understand the Bible more accurately and live the Christian life more faithfully. This autumn we embark on a study of the Old Testament scriptures.
